ENDURO.FAMILY

The recording card on the lock screen (iPhone)

Time, average speed, and kilometers are visible without unlocking the phone or opening the app.

While a recording is running, an ENDURO.FAMILY card appears on the iPhone lock screen: time in motion, average speed, and kilometers covered. Pull the phone out of your pocket, glance at the numbers, put it back — no unlocking or opening the app needed. On models with the Dynamic Island, the same numbers show there too.

  1. Start a recording as usual — the card appears.
  2. On the first launch the system asks permission for “Live Activities” — tap “Allow”, otherwise the card won’t be shown.
  3. The timer on the card runs on its own — the numbers don’t freeze even while the phone sleeps.
  4. Paused the recording — the card shows “Paused”.
  5. Stopped the recording — the card disappears, and the ride goes to the log.
The card is iPhone-only, on iOS 16.2 and newer: it’s a capability of the system itself. On Android the same thing is shown by the recording notification in the shade.

If there’s no card: check that the permission is granted — phone Settings → ENDURO.FAMILY → “Live Activities”, and that in iPhone Settings → “Face ID & Passcode” showing Live Activities on the locked screen is allowed.
