Amazfit (Zepp OS): EF.LIVE during a workout
The EF.LIVE extension inside a regular workout on an Amazfit watch transmits position, speed, elevation, and heart rate; at the finish the ride appears in the log and binds to the event.
EF.LIVE for Amazfit is a data page inside a regular workout on the watch (Zepp OS). Start a workout, open the EF.LIVE page — and during the ride the watch transmits your position, speed, elevation, and heart rate to the ENDURO.FAMILY app: the organizer and the safety crew see you on the event’s live map, and at the finish the ride appears in your log, bound to the day’s event. The phone is needed nearby as a communication channel. Works with Amazfit watches on Zepp OS 3.5 and newer (T-Rex Ultra/3, Cheetah, Falcon, GTR 4, Balance, Active and newer).
Step 1. Put EF.LIVE on the watch
- Open the Zepp app → your watch → App Store → the “Workout extensions” section → install EF.LIVE.
- Add the page to a workout: on the watch, open the workout you need → Settings → More → Data pages → “Add page” → EF.LIVE.
Step 2. Turn on the always-on display (important)
Step 3. Link the watch
- In the ENDURO.FAMILY app: Settings → Devices → Amazfit → “Get a link code” (the code lives 10 minutes). Tap the code to copy it.
- In the Zepp app: your watch → EF.LIVE → settings → enter the code → “Link”.
- Android: allow Zepp to work in the background — Zepp → Settings → “Background activity permissions” → “Keep awake” and battery set to “Unrestricted”. Otherwise points pile up on the watch and are sent only when the phone is unlocked.
From there, start a workout, swipe to the EF.LIVE page — and ride. Heart rate is health data: it is stored only with separate consent and visible only to you. How heart rate gets into the ride card — in “Heart rate and zones”; how a ride binds to an event — in “Binding a ride to an event”.
