Community track map: how to publish a route
A recorded track can be offered to the shared map — after review, everyone sees it.
The community track map is hundreds of routes from people who actually rode them. Your track can help riders across a whole region:
- Open a recorded outing and tap the “To the community map” tile. It appears on rides longer than 2 km that haven’t been published yet: short recording scraps and repeats help nobody on the map.
- Add a name and a few words: surface, difficulty, what it can be ridden on.
- The track goes for review — moderation filters out duplicates and accidental recordings.
An already published track shows a green “Track on the community map” line in its own card — tap it to open the route on the map.
Once approved, the route appears on the map with follow-the-trail navigation — and a trailblazer mark appears in your passport.
