The SOS button: how it works

An alert with coordinates goes to the event staff — for yourself or for a fellow rider.

At an event, the SOS button is available from the race or outing page. Pressing it sends the event staff an alert with your coordinates and phone number — race control and marshals see it instantly.

You can also raise an alert for another participant — by their start number: found a rider down on the track — report it, even if it’s not your run.

Don’t press SOS to check whether it works: false alarms pull people away from real ones.
