“Registration closed”: why it happens
A deadline, a participant limit, or the organizer's decision — the page always states the reason.
The registration button goes dark in three cases:
- The deadline has passed — the organizer set a registration deadline, and it’s over.
- No spots left — the participant limit is full (overall or in your class).
- The organizer closed registration manually — for example, before the start-number draw.
Limits sometimes get raised, and participants withdraw — check the page again closer to the event. A question about a specific race is fastest to resolve in the event chat: links to the organizer’s chats are right on the page.
