Can’t sign in: the call and the backup code

Sign-in is confirmed by your free call; if the call doesn’t go through, an SMS arrives.

Sign-in works the opposite way from what you are used to: we don’t call you — you make a free call to the number on the screen. The call drops automatically, nothing is charged, and sign-in is confirmed within a couple of seconds.

Enter your number and tap “Continue”.
Call the number shown from the same SIM card — the app confirms sign-in.
Call not available (outgoing calls blocked, roaming)? The app switches to an SMS code: enter it and tap “Sign in”.

Call from exactly the number you entered: verification checks the caller’s number. If the screen seems stuck after the call — return to the app: the check continues on its own.

The “Continue” button keeps spinning for more than ten seconds, or you see “No connection to the server”? Most often a VPN is on: through it the request often never reaches our servers at all. Turn the VPN off, wait for the message or tap “Cancel”, and try again. See the VPN article below for details.
