Home: the feed, stories, and “Useful”
How the home screen works, how to comment and reply, where the full video is, and when the feed refreshes.
Home is the community feed. At the top — the stories ring (the “Create” circle opens a post, a story, or a group outing) and the “From your teams” strip; the feed starts right below them. Your upcoming outings and starts live in the “Calendar” tab. Between posts you will come across collections: community riders, teams and clubs, upcoming starts.
“Useful” is a set of small cards under the first post: consent to club news, enabling notifications, a promo code, an empty garage. Answer one — the card disappears; “Not now” or “Later” hides it for two weeks.
When the feed refreshes. When you open Home, the last loaded feed is shown, and fresh content pulls in on its own — if more than a minute has passed since last time, or you published, rated, or deleted something. Pull the feed down to refresh right away. If you are far down and new posts appear at the top, the feed doesn’t jump — a “Fresh posts” chip pops up at the top; tap it to go up to them.
Video is marked with a “Video” badge in the corner of the frame. A clip starts playing without sound as soon as its card takes the center of the screen — no need to stop scrolling — and pauses when you scroll past it; the next one preloads in advance. One tap on a video turns sound on or off for the whole feed; a double tap on any frame is a like.
Full video. If the author attached a link to the full clip, a “Full video” badge with the service logo — YouTube, VK Video, or Rutube — appears in the corner of the frame. Tap it: the app reminds you it is a third-party service and opens the clip there.
Comments. The two latest comments are shown under a post. Tap them, the 💬 icon, or the “Add a comment…” line — comments open in a sheet over the feed, so after replying you stay where you were. Close the sheet by swiping down on the handle or tapping the dimmed area.
- Reply — the “Reply” button under a comment, or swipe it left. The field gets an @name, the reply lands under that comment, and its author is notified.
- Like — the heart on the right, or double-tap the comment.
- Delete your comment (or any comment under your own post) — swipe left → “Delete”. Replies to it are deleted too.
- Copy the text — long-press the comment.
- Report someone else's comment — long-press → “Report”, then pick a reason. The author won't know who reported it; a moderator reviews the comment and removes it if it breaks the rules.
More than two replies are collapsed under “Show replies”. The emoji row above the input adds a reaction to your text; send with the arrow.
Scrolled way down? Tap “Home” in the bottom menu again — the feed smoothly returns to the top.
