Races: start, checkpoints, and finish
The route thread: points with GPS coordinates, classes at each checkpoint, and marshals.
The “Checkpoints” screen is built as a route thread from top to bottom: Start → Checkpoints → Finish. Each point has coordinates, class assignments, and a marshal.
- Set up the Start: coordinates come from the “Current location” button (while standing on the spot), from picking on the map, or by manual entry.
- Add checkpoints along the course. Each has classes (“All” by default; a checkpoint can be kept for only some classes), an optional name (“CP-2 Ford”), and coordinates. The order is changed with the arrows.
- The Finish works like the start; if the start and finish share a spot, there’s a “Copy start coordinates” button.
- Assign marshals — by phone number or Enduro ID; recent helpers are suggested. A marshal records passings at their checkpoint on their own phone.
At the bottom of the screen is the “Route readiness” block: how many checkpoints there are and how many have GPS and marshals. The green checklist for each point is a quick way to make sure everything is ready for the race.
