Inserts and captions: the movie editor
Your outing videos are cut into the flyover; the fragment is trimmed with two handles, and the caption lands as a polaroid.
The movie becomes personal when your own footage is cut into the flyover. In the “Ride movie” block, tap the plus and pick photos and videos — up to 10 inserts. Each lands at the point of the route where it was shot: the app takes the coordinates from the file itself.
- Tap an insert — the editor opens with a filmstrip of frames.
- Use the two handles to pick the start and end of the fragment: the movie takes a piece from 2 to 8 seconds, and the preview loops — what you see is what goes into the movie.
- Add a caption — it lands in the frame as a “polaroid”.
The thumbnails show what’s set: the chosen fragment’s duration as a number in the corner, a speech-bubble icon if there’s a caption. The cross removes the insert.
Footage added after the build doesn’t go into the finished clip until you tap the rebuild button next to “Watch movie”. It spends one of the month’s generations.
